Introduction

In a country like India with the youngest population in the world, and not enough job opportunities, there is a felt need for programs that focus not only on building essential skills, but also take the skills to another level by exploring these as an entrepreneurial option, leading to an additional source of income.
The Bakers Arena is one such initiative that is a ray of hope towards self-reliance and self-employment. The Bakers Arena is the baking edition of Cook a Dream. Cook a Dream is a unique event that combines a contest with workshops to challenge the participants as also handhold them by educating them along the way.

While on one hand, we want to use this platform to encourage more and more people to bake, especially the children and baking enthusiasts segment, by elevating their skills to a more professional level, we are also endeavouring to help people interested in baking set up their business through the learnings from this competition, the reason why all our workshops are free and open to everyone.
The Bakers Arena is open to all those who love to bake and are taking their first steps in baking. The workshops that are a part of the contest model would focus on the basics of bakery, patisserie, and confectionery, setting up a successful bakery business from the start, pricing the bakes correctly, and different ways of marketing them.
